Each season, International Dubai Fashion Week prides itself on showcasing the most rapidly growing designers in the region who are at the forefront of fashion, including ready-to-wear and couture, from Europe and Middle East countries such as Kuwait, Bahrain, Egypt, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.
A pioneer, the International Dubai Fashion Week was the first fashion event in the Gulf to host runway shows since 2006. The fashion extravaganza is back this year and will be showcased under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Hend Al Qassemi, making it one big chic affair!
iDFW has come a long way since 2006, and this year iDFW will witness the creativity of some of the most amazingly talented fashion designers from across the world. The show will be attended by buyers, retailers, stylists, editors, international press, models, and celebrities. iDFW aims to be the next stop on the international fashion week circuit following New York, London, Milan and Paris.
At International Dubai Fashion Week, we like to push the envelope because we believe we can do the seemingly impossible and unthinkable. Our focus is on innovative ideas and activities, putting fashion and marketing at the forefront. Be it insights from industry specialists, live styling events, makeup tutorials, or sponsor activations, our aim is to entertain, engage and educate at International Dubai Fashion Week.
The show will attract HNW clients with the most spending power and VIPs that include royal family members and celebrities. Sheikha Hend will extend invitations to duchesses, countesses and baronesses she has met across the world, as well as regional princesses.
Kuwaiti social media star and influencer Rawan Bin Hussain, Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana, the granddaughter of the late king of Thailand, and Queen Zaynab of Nigeria will be attending the show.
For the international press, International Dubai Fashion Week will digitally invite editors from the Middle East and beyond to tune in to the fashion show for a special virtual front-row experience. This will ensure broadcasting to foreign media outlets including WWD and US- or Europe-based publications.
